John Pullen

Chief Growth Officer at Luck Companies

In his role as Chief Growth Officer and a member of Luck Companies Strategic Leadership Team, John is responsible for balancing the portfolio of the enterprise to deliver best in class financial results, as well as identifying global trends that have relevancy to the future growth of the business.

John joined the company in 1993 in the Real Estate Division. Prior to serving in his current position, he was Vice President of Real Estate, Vice President of Strategic Development responsible for leading the business strategy development for the corporation, and President of Luck Stone.

Before joining Luck Companies, John served as Vice President of the InnsLand Group, a real estate development consulting company, and oversaw the development of significant commercial and residential projects in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

John holds a B.S. and MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He was recently appointed by the governor to serve as a Commissioner of the Virginia Port Authority, which fosters and stimulates commerce through the ports of the Commonwealth. He serves on the boards of the VCU Rice Center and the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association.
