Lloyd Melnick has held a variety of roles in the gaming industry since 1987. Lloyd began their career as an Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency in 1987. In 1993, they co-founded Merscom LLC, a game company that eventually sold to Playdom and then Disney, where they developed and published multiple top-5 games targeting the casual female demographic. In 2010, they became the General Manager of International Publishing at Playdom, which was acquired by The Walt Disney Company. In 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer of FiveOneNine Games, a joint gaming venture between The E. W. Scripps Company and Capitol Broadcasting. In 2013, they became the Chief Growth Officer of Spooky Cool Labs and Senior Director of Zynga Social Casino and Hit It Rich! Casino Slots. In 2015, they became the Director of StarsPlay at The Stars Group, where they turned an unprofitable business into a $25million+ contributor to EBITDA. In 2019, they became the Chief Growth Officer of VGW and the GM of Chumba Casino, VGW's largest social casino title. During their tenure, VGW's revenue has grown to over $2 billion and the share value has increased 20X, while Chumba increased to about 70 percent of VGW's business. Lloyd also became a Non Executive Director at MURKA and Luckbox.com, a fully-licenced esports betting platform publicly traded on the TSXV.

Lloyd Melnick has a long and varied educational history. Lloyd obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and Psychology from The Johns Hopkins University in 1987-1989. Lloyd then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Economics at George Mason University from 1987-1989. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in European Integration from University of Limerick from 1990-1992. Lloyd then went on to obtain an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 1989-1993. Most recently, they are pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Grenoble Ecole de Management from 2021-2025.
