David Renteln

David Renteln was the co-founder of Soylent, a food replacement product. David left in 2017 to start Lucy, a food delivery service.

Dr. David Renteln received their Doctor of Philosophy in Biology from Caltech. David also holds a degree in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University, where they minored in Economics. Additionally, they have attended the University of Southern California and the Polytechnic School. Most recently, they were a part of Y Combinator.
