Deshan Madurajith

Deshan Madurajith has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Deshan is currently serving as a Senior Technical Lead at Lucytech since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Engineer at Beta Launch from January 2021 to March 2022, where they guided and mentored engineers in building better software and provided technical advice and architecture solutions to clients and teams.

Before Beta Launch, Deshan worked at Rootcode Labs as a Tech Lead from February 2020 to December 2020. In this role, they provided architecture solutions for building software, worked with the team to deliver successful products and services, and improved software engineering practices to ensure high-quality output. Deshan also worked closely with clients to provide architecture and technical solutions.

From 2016 to 2020, Deshan was associated with Nuclei Technologies, Sri Lanka, where they held various roles. Deshan served as a Tech Lead from November 2018 to February 2020, an Associate Tech Lead from January 2018 to October 2018, and a Full Stack Engineer from March 2016 to December 2017.

Deshan started their career at TS Web Technologies as a Trainee Software Developer from October 2015 to March 2016.

Throughout their career, Deshan has demonstrated expertise in guiding teams, providing architecture solutions, improving software engineering practices, and delivering successful projects.

Deshan Madurajith completed their high school education in Mathematics at Royal College Colombo. Deshan then pursued a Higher National Diploma in Computing & Systems Development + Software Development at ICBT Campus- INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, they attended Cardiff Metropolitan University for a Bachelor's Degree - TopUp in BSc (Hons) Software Engineering, which they completed in 2017. Afterwards, Deshan enrolled at ESOFT Metro Campus in 2015 for a course on Advanced Java Frameworks (Spring).

In 2019, Deshan began their MSc in Computer Science at the University of Moratuwa, which they are anticipated to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Deshan has also obtained several certifications. In October 2020, they completed the "Blockchain: Complete Hyperledger Fabric Development Bootcamp" from Udemy. In August 2021, they obtained the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), followed by the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional" certification in November 2021, also from AWS.
