We are Britain’s largest handcraft bindery producing short run, leather or cloth bound books, for bespoke limited editions complete with slipcases or Solander boxes.

Our bindery is built on historical principles which allow us to create beautiful books that when properly looked after will last for generations to come. We have over 150 years of experience in our team of 25 binders, with most having been trained by our most senior and knowledgeable team members.  

We offer an end-to-end service with everything from design, blocking and of course the binding all done in-house at our bindery in the picturesque market town of Ludlow, Shropshire.

As a proudly British company, we use talented craftsmen across the country, from silversmiths and engravers, we support the homegrown publishing and craft ecosystem, which produces some of the finest materials, presses, and books in the world.
