Christopher Zeiss has extensive experience in data and advanced analytics, currently serving as the Head of Data and Advanced Analytics at Lufthansa since January 2008. In this role, Christopher leads a team of Product Owners, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers, overseeing the development of vital data products such as Customer Segmentations, Predictive Models, and Recommendation Engines. Prior positions at Lufthansa include Project Lead Data Science, where Christopher focused on personalizing preflight communication for various airline customers, and Manager of Personalized Customer Experience, responsible for shaping the strategy of a comprehensive personalization program. Christopher's career also includes roles in strategy development, marketing management, and customer analysis. Previous experience at Feri Rating & Research GmbH involved economic research and forecasts, while academic work at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität concentrated on econometric evaluations. Christopher holds a Diploma in Economics and a Doktor rer. pol. in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt.
