Karsten Schiz

Karsten Schiz has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Gruppenleiter for Kapazitätsplanung, Personalplanung und -disposition, as well as Gepäckumschlag und -ermittlung at Lufthansa since December 2019. Prior to this role, Schiz worked at Lufthansa Group from July 2016 to December 2019 as a Referent for Passagier- und Gepäckprozesse Hub Airlines. Additional experience includes positions at Terminal 2 Gesellschaft Flughafen München from October 2012 to June 2016, where Schiz was a Referent for Passagierprozesse & Kommunikation Projekt Satellit T2 and a Manager. Earlier career involvement at Deutsche Lufthansa AG from July 2007 to October 2014 included roles as Manager Core and Referent for Bodenprozesse und Passagierservices. Schiz holds a Diplom Handelslehrer degree in Wirtschaftspaedagogik from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (1997-2002) and is a trained Luftverkehrskaufmann from Deutsche Lufthansa AG (1994-1996).
