Marc Schoene

Marc Schoene is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting and financial management. Since May 2017, Marc has served as the Head of Controlling and Financial Steering at Lufthansa, overseeing both Controlling and Financial Steering for LH Airlines as well as aircraft and lease accounting for LH Group. Prior to this role, Marc held the position of Director Finance & External Closing at Lufthansa Cargo from June 2009 to May 2017, focusing on financial reporting, revenue, and financial accounting. Additional experience includes serving as Bereichsleiter Accounting & Controlling at HUGO BOSS and as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young / Arthur Andersen. Marc began the career as WP/StB Assistent at Strecker Berger & Partner Wirtschaftsprüfer Steuerberater. Marc holds a Diplom-Ökonom degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Kassel, earned from 1994 to 1998.
