Thomas Richter

Thomas Richter has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as a Flight Captain, Instructor, and Examiner at Lufthansa since March 2017, overseeing A320 Family operations and, since 2023, A330/350 and, from 2024, A340 aircraft. Prior to Lufthansa, Thomas worked at Germanwings GmbH from November 2006 to February 2017 in similar captain roles and as an instructor and examiner for the A320 Family. Earlier career experience includes serving as a First Officer at Lufthansa from July 2000 to November 2006, with flight duties on various Boeing and Airbus models, and at Deutsche BA from December 1998 to June 2000 as a First Officer on the Boeing 737-300. Thomas holds an Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) from Fachschule für Luftfahrzeugführer, completed in 1998.
