Vatter Stephan is currently a pilot at Lufthansa, having taken on the role of Flugkapitän in 2024. Prior to this, Vatter accumulated extensive experience as a pilot at Lufthansa Cargo from 1998 to 2024, flying various aircraft including the MD11, B747, and B777, with a significant total flight experience of over 14,000 hours. Vatter achieved first place in the Deutsche Motorkunstflug-Meisterschaft in 2005 in the Sportsman category. Vatter studied at LH Verkehrsfliegerschule Bremen, earning an ATPL, and is currently pursuing an Abitur at Technisches Gymnasium Kirchheim/Teck.
