Volker Rothmann

Volker Rothmann has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the representative at Airbus for all A320 family deliveries within the Lufthansa Group since May 2014. In this role, Volker oversees the entire process from initial manufacturing to final acceptance. Additionally, Volker has held the position of Head of Aircraft Specification and Configuration at Lufthansa Passage Airlines since July 2014, participating as a permanent member of the Lufthansa Group Specification Board. Volker also previously served as Head of Aircraft Configuration and project lead for various Entry into Service (EIS) projects. Early career positions included Aircraft System Engineering at Lufthansa Technik, with a focus on avionics and flight control systems. Volker's educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering from Frankfurt University of Applied Science and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Technische Universität Darmstadt, complemented by an apprenticeship as an Airplane Systems Technician with Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
