Joy Wang

Joy Wang is an accomplished finance professional and educator currently involved in various roles at the University of Ottawa and beyond. As a Finance Committee member with the uOttawa International Political & Policy Studies Student Association and as VP Finance for multiple student organizations, including uOttawa AÉEC-CSA and the University of Ottawa Model United Nations Association, Joy Wang effectively manages substantial budgets and financial documentation. In addition to academic contributions, Joy Wang serves as a Financial Mentor and Director of University Operations at PennyDrops, which focuses on enhancing financial literacy among peers. Experience also includes participation in the International Law Summer Program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a First Year Representative position with the Canadian Cancer Society, promoting fundraising initiatives. Joy Wang holds an Honours Bachelor in Joint Honours Communications and Political Science at the University of Ottawa, expected to graduate in 2028.
