Matt Penner

Matt Penner is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in art direction, design, and development across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Art Director at lululemon since October 2019, Matt previously held multiple roles at People Footwear from March 2013 to October 2019, including Co-Founder and Art Director, focusing on marketing assets and product development. Prior to this, Matt co-founded Native Shoes, contributing to branding and product design from June 2008 to January 2013. Earlier career milestones include serving as Senior Interface Designer at Electronic Arts Canada, Art Director at Factory 1 Games, and Computer Graphics Artist at Electronic Arts, where foundational skills in user interface design and 3D modeling were developed. Matt holds a degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, completed in 1998.
