Terri Morgan

Terri Morgan has over 30 years of experience in the media industry. Terri started their career in 1988 as a Video Editor at Alpha Cine Labs. In 1995, they joined Lightworks as a Product Specialist, where they acted as Quality Assurance Team Leader and tested Lightworks and VIP - Windows based non-linear video editing systems. Terri managed beta testers and provided direction for development and design purposes. In 1999, they moved to Fast Multimedia as a Technical Support Engineer. In 2000, they became the Owner and Video Editor at Dotted Line Digital Post, providing creative editing and DVD authoring services for commercials, video magazines, trade show videos, and documentaries. In 2008, they joined Avid Technology as a Senior Principal Product Designer, responsible for product vision, feature requirements, schedule, scope, interaction design, and creating wireframes. Terri designed and co-product managed Avid Studio, a pro-sumer Windows video editing product, as well as the successful Avid Studio App for iPad. In 2012, they moved to Corel Corporation as a Senior Product Manager - Principal Designer. In 2013, they co-founded and became the Principal Designer of Luma Touch, a company committed to building innovative products for media professionals with a focus on unparalleled user experience.

Terri Morgan's education history includes a Professional Certificate in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained between 2011 and 2013, as well as a BA in Media Communications from The Evergreen State College, obtained between 1984 and 1988. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington in 2012, Certified Scrum Master Course from Agile Infusion in 2011, Interaction Design Practicum from Cooper U in 2011, and Practical Product Management from Pragmatic Marketing in 2011.
