Michael Heiß is a Senior System Engineer at LUMA Vision, currently leading research and development efforts. Previously, they worked as a System Engineer at iThera Medical GmbH from 2020 to 2025, and contributed to the development of a novel Point-of-Care device while at Heatshockers from 2018 to 2020. Michael completed a Master’s thesis on acoutophoresis in gel-filled microchannels at the Heinz-Nixdorf Lehrstuhl für Medizinische Elektronik in 2019. They hold a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Technische Universität München, earned in 2019.
