Colin Hebert

Senior Vice President, Scientific and Business Operations at LumaCyte

Colin Hebert has extensive work experience in the biotechnology field. Colin started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Maryland in 2009. Later, they worked as an NRC Research Associate and then as a Research Biologist at the Naval Research Laboratory from December 2009 to January 2015. In February 2015, they joined LumaCyte as the Vice President of Biotechnology. Colin eventually became the Senior Vice President of Scientific and Business Operations at LumaCyte, a company that specializes in label-free single-cell analysis instrumentation. Their role involved developing and implementing innovative technologies for various applications, including viral infectivity, gene therapy, and cell health monitoring.

Colin Hebert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Resources Engineering from the University of Maryland - A. James Clark School of Engineering in 2002. Colin then went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the same institution, completing their studies in 2008.
