Andreas Bastian

Andreas Bastian has a long and varied work experience. In 2019, they became the Co-founder and Head of Product at Lumafield. From 2014-2018, they worked at Autodesk in various roles, including Principal Research Scientist, 3D Printing Research Scientist, and Artist in Residence. In 2015, they became the Chair of the Technology Advisory Board and a Member of the Board of Directors at LimbForge. In 2013, they were a Researcher in SLS Technology and a Fellow at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute at Rice University. In 2012, they were the Lead R&D Engineer and R&D Lab Manager at Makerbot Industries. In 2011, they were a Summer Researcher at the Swarthmore College Department of Engineering. Finally, in 2009, they were a Software Development Intern at Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine.

Andreas Bastian attended Swarthmore College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
