Yang Meng

US Head Of Health Economics & Statistics, HEOR (senior Director) at Lumanity

Yang Meng has an extensive work experience in the field of health economics analysis and statistics. Currently, Yang is the US Head of Health Economics & Statistics at Lumanity, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, Yang served as the Senior Director and US Head of Health Economics Analysis at Lumanity from March 2022 to February 2023. Before joining Lumanity, Yang held several positions at BresMed from 2014 to 2022, including Senior Director, Health Economics Analysis & US Head of HEAT, and US Head of Health Economics Analysis. Yang also worked as a Principal Health Economist at BresMed from October 2014 to September 2017. Prior to BresMed, Yang worked as a Research Fellow in Health Modelling at the University of Sheffield from March 2009 to September 2014. Yang's earlier experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Warwick Business School from April 2007 to October 2007.

Yang Meng's education history begins with their high school education at The Experimental Highschool Attached To Beijing Normal University from 1994 to 1997. Following this, Yang went on to study at Shanghai Maritime University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Transport Economics from 1997 to 2001. They continued their studies at the same university and completed a Master's Degree in Industrial Economics from 2001 to 2004. Yang then pursued further education at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Management Science and Operational Research from 2004 to 2005. Finally, Yang successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Modeling and Simulation from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
