Lumbridge Consulting is a Chicago-based data engineering and AI firm operating across two primary areas: a commercial practice that builds and operates production data and AI platforms, managed AI services, and cybersecurity solutions for mid-market organizations; and a federal and defense practice that delivers secure, air-gapped infrastructure for government workloads. Both areas are supported by Lumbridge Research, our applied research arm, which advances the technical foundations behind what we build.

Across commercial and federal engagements, we apply data engineering, AI, and cybersecurity to complex operational challenges. Within our commercial practice, many client relationships begin with managed AI services, helping leadership teams adopt AI where it creates real value before expanding into custom tooling, data integration, and secure infrastructure as needs evolve. Across data and AI engineering, cybersecurity, advisory services, and federal and defense delivery, we integrate fragmented operational systems into governed data platforms, build and deploy machine learning and large language model solutions, and secure the environments in which they operate.

Alongside these efforts, Lumbridge Research develops mathematically grounded approaches to AI interpretability and quantum machine learning, in collaboration with leading national and international universities. This research foundation reflects a rare combination of quantum expertise, more than 50 years of collective AI experience, and leadership shaped by classified defense programs, giving our work a depth of technical rigor, security, and accountability that sets it apart.
