Brian Waite

Brian Waite is a Senior Lead Information Security Engineer at Lumen Technologies, where they apply their extensive background in cybersecurity and data science. Previously, they served in various key positions within the U.S. government, including as a Senior Data Scientist at the National Security Agency and a Senior Strategic Architect at United States Cyber Command. Brian's experience encompasses mentoring high school students in machine learning, advising on cybersecurity strategies at U.S. embassies, and leading initiatives to mitigate cyber threats. They hold two master's degrees in Data Science and Human-Computer Interaction, as well as a bachelor's degree in History from the United States Naval Academy.
