Dan Lamastres

Dan LaMastres is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in security architecture and risk management. Currently serving as Sr. Lead Information Security Engineer at Lumen Technologies since June 2016, Dan oversees the information security policy, enhances employee security knowledge through a comprehensive security awareness program, and conducts security assessments for new applications. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Manager of Information Security at CenturyLink, where responsibilities included managing security policies, performing risk assessments, and reviewing contract security provisions. Additional experience includes positions at Embarq Corporation, where Dan managed Security Risk Management and other related functions, as well as various management roles at Sprint, focusing on network and IT security, system development, and technical staff oversight. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Graceland University and previous education from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
