Jared Wiener

Jared Wiener is an experienced professional with a strong background in government affairs, economic development, and finance. Currently serving as the State Government Affairs Director at Lumen Technologies since August 2022, Wiener has previously held significant roles such as Board Treasurer for Buckman Community Association and Board Member for Oregon Story Board and Oregon Business & Industry. Notably, Wiener also served as Finance Director for the North Carolina Democratic Party, successfully raising funds for numerous competitive races. With experience as an Economist at the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Wiener conducted in-depth economic analyses and managed staff. Additionally, as an Economic Development Manager at Prosper Portland, Wiener focused on enhancing the economic landscape and quality of life in the Portland area, and also participated in the TechTown Steering Committee aimed at fostering a diverse tech talent pipeline. Current board membership includes the Oregon Telecommunications Association.
