Jean Engels is a seasoned professional in solution architecture with extensive experience in leading engineering teams within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as VP Solution Architecture at Lumen Technologies since February 2020, Jean oversees architects and engineers for both the Large Enterprise & Cloud Technology Group and key accounts in the Central Region. Prior to this role, Jean held various leadership positions at CenturyLink Business, including Senior Director of Solution Architecture and Director of Sales Engineering, where responsibilities included architecting solutions and exceeding financial targets for large enterprise accounts. Jean's career began at Norstan Communications, advancing from System Design Programmer to Senior Network Engineer and Senior Technical Instructor. Jean holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
