Jeff W. has extensive experience in government relations, communications, and regulatory affairs within the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Gov't Relations Director for AI, Cybersecurity & Privacy + Communications and Social Media at Lumen Technologies since September 2020. In this role, Jeff W. directs external policy engagement on critical issues such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and privacy while managing departmental communications. Prior to Lumen, Jeff W. spent over two decades at CenturyLink, where roles included Director of Communications and Social Media, Corporate External Affairs Director, and Corporate Legislative Director for the Western United States, focusing on privacy, cybersecurity, and legislative strategies. Educational qualifications include an International M.B.A. from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Colorado College, along with a Certificate in the Strategic Artificial Intelligence Program from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
