John Knies

John Knies currently serves as the Director of Enterprise Security Architecture and Engineering at Lumen Technologies since May 2020. Prior to this role, John Knies spent over a decade at CenturyLink, holding various positions including Principal Architect for Enterprise Security, Director & Chief Information Security Officer, and Chief Security Officer. John Knies began their career at CenturyTel, where responsibilities included roles as Security Analyst and Team Lead, as well as Manager of the Network Support Center.
