Mark Garey

Mark Garey is currently the Director of Lab Infrastructure at Lumen Technologies, overseeing lab operations, environments, and tools in support of IT and network partners. Previously, Mark served as Senior Director of Network Engineering at Level 3 Communications, where responsibilities included network certification of both terrestrial and subsea transport infrastructure. Mark has held various engineering and leadership roles across multiple companies, including Director of Optical and Ethernet Engineering at tw telecom and Director of Broadband Engineering at Qwest. With a rich background in optical platforms and network engineering, Mark has contributed significantly to the development and deployment of complex network solutions throughout their career.
