Michael Kirchner

Michael Kirchner, CISSP, is a seasoned Security Solutions Architect at Lumen Technologies since April 2020, and serves as the Cyberoperations Chief of Weapons and Tactics in the U.S. Air Force Reserve since November 2019. With extensive experience in cybersecurity and operations management, prior roles include Lead Security Operations Center Analyst at Northrop Grumman, and Director of Operations in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where Michael focused on process optimization and ITIL framework implementation. Michael's career spans various leadership positions across prominent organizations, including roles at GE Water & Process Technologies and General Electric, as well as an initial role in the U.S. Air Force. Education credentials include a BS in Management of Technical Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completion of leadership programs at GE Crotonville and the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
