Michael Sainz

Michael Sainz, CISSP, has extensive experience in information security, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Global Security Operations at Lumen Technologies since June 2013, following a progressive career with roles such as Manager of Security Operations and Security Architect. Prior to Lumen, Michael worked as Principal Information Security Engineer at GTECH and as a Security Engineer/Security Account Manager at CIBER, Inc. Additionally, Michael held positions at SecureWorks and VeriSign, providing expertise in solution design and security engineering. Earlier roles include IT Security Manager at Rhode Island Lottery and Network Security Analyst at American Power Conversion. Michael Sainz holds a Master of Science in Network Security from Capitol Technology University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from New England Tech.
