Mike Bishop

Mike Bishop has extensive experience in network architecture and engineering, currently serving as Principal Architect/Principal Engineer at Lumen Technologies since August 2015, where responsibility includes designing Edge Compute and Cloud network infrastructure. Previously, Mike held the role of Manager for Architecture Data Applications and Systems at CenturyLink, overseeing a team dedicated to IP and MPLS product design and configuration standards while collaborating with major network vendors. Mike's career began at Savvis, where as Network Backbone Engineering Manager, oversight of an international engineering team and budget management for MPLS traffic networks was essential. Additionally, Mike contributed to the development of MPLS/BGP L3VPN offerings as a Senior Network Engineer. An alumnus of the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, Mike holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Management Information Systems.
