Mike Howard

Mike Howard is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications sector with experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Director of DevOps at Lumen Technologies since June 2020, Mike previously held the role of Senior Manager, where the focus was on automating customer support processes. Prior to Lumen, Mike dedicated 20 years at Level 3 Communications in various positions, including Senior Operations Engineer and Operations Engineer, providing Tier 3 support for a vast multi-vendor network. Mike began a career in telecommunications as a Network Control Center Technician at Wiltel Communications and gained initial technical experience in Operations Development at WorldCom. Mike’s foundational expertise was established during service in the United States Air Force, where skills in satellite and telecommunications were developed.
