Rick Gutierrez

Rick Gutierrez is a Regulatory Affairs Director at Lumen Technologies, where they focus on regulatory and public policy initiatives. Previously, they served as a Regulatory Operations Manager at CenturyLink from 2011 to 2019, overseeing compliance with consumer protection and fair trade rules. Prior to that, they held various roles at Qwest Communications, including Regulatory Compliance Manager and Manager of Risk Management, where they ensured adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Rick earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science from Colorado State University, one in 1992 and another in 2002.
