Amelia Murphy

Amelia Murphy serves as the Director at Lument since October 2019, bringing extensive experience from previous roles including Assistant Vice President and Associate Underwriter at Newmark Knight Frank and Berkeley Point Capital LLC. With a strong background in underwriting multifamily loans, Amelia has demonstrated expertise in conducting detailed economic and demographic research, preparing loan approval packages, and analyzing complex real estate transactions in compliance with agency guidelines such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Prior to these roles, Amelia held positions as an Underwriting Analyst and Screener at Arbor Realty Trust and gained valuable skills as a tutor and intern in various financial and research settings. Amelia holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Government from St. Lawrence University, complemented by a bridge program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
