Chengkun Chen has extensive work experience in the field of RF engineering, spanning over several decades. Chengkun started their career as a Project Manager/Electrical Engineer at the Shanghai TV & Broadcasting Technology Research Institute in 1988, where they worked until 1997. From 1999 to 2002, they served as a Design Engineer at Nortel Networks. In 2004, they joined Carleton University as a Research Assistant, a role in which they worked until 2008. Chengkun then moved on to the University of Ottawa, where they served as a Research Associate from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they joined NeoPhotonics in 2013 and held the position of Principal RF Engineer until 2022.
