Jiang Wang is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of advanced optical systems. Currently a Staff Optical Engineer at Lumentum since July 2015, Jiang specializes in creating microstructure configurations for VCSELs used in Lidar and AR/VR applications, utilizing Python for manufacturing documentation, and performing analyses based on SEM data. Prior experience includes leading R&D for direct-diode lasers at JDSU and managing optical engineering teams at Mars Technology and Bayspec Inc., where significant contributions included the development of Raman spectrometers and laser modules. Jiang holds a Ph.D. in Optics/Optical Sciences from Nankai University, completed in 1998.
