Mark Lin

Mark Lin is an experienced professional specializing in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies in manufacturing environments. Currently serving as a Kaizen/Lean Leader at Lumentum since July 2018, Mark drives global Lean initiatives, facilitates Kaizen projects with Shingijutsu partners, and has developed a comprehensive internal resource, "Leanpedia." Prior to this role, Mark contributed as a Sourcing Specialist at Vista Outdoor Inc. and held multiple positions at Danaher Corporation, including Production Supervisor and Materials Planner. Notable achievements include managing substantial physical inventories, enhancing production capacity, and implementing cost-saving Lean practices resulting in significant reductions in inventory and lead times. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Supply Chain Management from the University of Maryland.
