Matt Stailey

Matt Stailey is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the high-power laser and technology development sectors. At Lumentum since July 2016, key roles have included serving as Project Manager and Staff Mechanical Engineer for innovative projects focused on wavelength-locked laser pumps, as well as leading significant R&D programs in the High Power Laser division. Prior experiences include supportive roles in opto-mechanical design and collaborative product development. In 2016, while managing a senior design team at the University of Colorado Boulder, Matt successfully integrated a novel manufacturing method for thermal ground planes. An engineering internship at Entegris further solidified skills in SolidWorks modeling and product design. Matt holds a degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed secondary education at Monte Vista High School.
