Ming Wu is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in product development and quality management in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Quality at Lumentum since March 2013, Ming has driven the growth of Picoblade lasers and made significant operational and strategic decisions. Previously, positions included Senior Product Engineering Manager, where advanced transceivers and optical modules were ramped up, and Engineering Development Manager, overseeing NPI and cost improvement projects for datacom products. Ming held the role of VP of Operations at Nuovo Film Inc, commercializing silver nanowire technology, and Director at Kaiam Corporation, managing NPI for 40G QSFP OSAs. Earlier career highlights include leading design and project management efforts at OCLARO and founding Transvision Microsystems. Educational achievements include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, alongside degrees in Nuclear Physics and Information Systems from the University of Science and Technology of China.
