Simon Warren

Simon Warren has over two decades of experience in product management and engineering within the telecommunications and optical networking industries. Currently serving as PLM Director at Lumentum since November 2013, Simon oversees a portfolio of Wavelength Selective Switches for ROADM applications. Previous roles include Product Line Manager at Semtech Corporation, where management of optical networking ICs occurred, and Director of Product Management at OCLARO, responsible for high bit rate modules and transmission products. Simon's career began as a Microelectronic Design Engineer at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, followed by various engineering and management positions at Nortel Networks and Bookham, culminating in significant expertise in analog IC design and applications engineering. Simon holds an MSc and BEng in Microelectronics and Telecommunications from the University of Liverpool.
