Rain Dong

Rain Dong is a seasoned professional in the lighting industry with extensive experience in product development and application engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Lumileds since November 2018, Rain has previously held the position of Director at OSRAM Continental, overseeing the APAC Customer Center and managing profit and loss responsibilities. Rain's tenure at OSRAM spanned nearly a decade, during which time responsibilities included leading OEM SSL business strategy and establishing a specialty lighting application center in the APAC region. Early career experience at Shanghai Koito Automotive Lamp Co., Ltd. involved designing and developing LED-based automotive lighting systems and conducting design risk analysis. Rain holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Optical and Electronic Information Engineering from Zhejiang University and a Master's degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
