Ted Mihopoulos

Ted Mihopoulos has a strong background in the semiconductor industry. Ted has held various roles in companies such as Lumileds, Philips Lighting, and Motorola Semiconductor. Ted started working at Motorola Semiconductor as a Process Engineer in 1998 and later joined Philips Lumileds in 2000, where they held positions such as Scientist, Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Senior Section Manager. In 2011, they became the Senior Director of Epitaxy Technology at Philips Lighting. Mihopoulos returned to Lumileds in 2014 as the Senior Director of Camera Flash & Display Product Development and then went on to become the Vice President of Product Development in the LED Solutions Business Unit in 2019.

Ted Mihopoulos has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they received between the years 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering Practice from the same institute from 1992 to 1994. Ted'seducation journey began at the University of Patras, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from 1987 to 1992.
