Vicky Tan

Vicky Tan has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Vicky started their career at AMD in 2007 as an Engineer and progressively moved up to Senior Engineer and eventually became a Section Manager in the Product Development Engineering department. In these roles, they were responsible for product development, manufacturing ramp, and ensuring quality and reliability of the products. Vicky also led projects to improve processes and reduce wastage, resulting in significant cost savings.

In 2018, Vicky joined TF AMD Microelectronics as a Manager, where they led a team of Technical Program Managers and was responsible for enabling new product realization from design to manufacturing. Vicky also managed process engineering teams, focusing on process characterization, cost-saving initiatives, and improving yield and quality.

Most recently, Vicky joined Lumileds in 2021 as a Technical Project Lead in the R&D department. Vicky'sresponsibilities include leading multi-functional teams, defining product and technology roadmaps, and optimizing phosphor integration processes.

Throughout their career, Vicky has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a focus on driving continuous improvement.

Vicky Tan completed high school at Sam Tet Ipoh from 2001 to 2003. Vicky then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science from the National University of Malaysia, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006.
