Kyle Evans

Kyle Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kyle currently works at Lumin Digital as an Engineering Manager, where they started in October 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Site Reliability Engineer at the same company, starting in May 2021.

Prior to Lumin Digital, Kyle worked at Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University as the Associate Director of Network Operations. During their time there from November 2012 to September 2021, they led a team responsible for architecting and maintaining network and server infrastructure. Kyle implemented DevOps principles and AWS infrastructure with Kubernetes and Istio.

Kyle's earlier experience includes working as a Network Engineer at The Ohio State University from December 2005 to November 2012. Kyle designed and managed a network for thousands of students and staff across multiple locations, and implemented 802 standards. Before that, they worked as an Electronics Technician at DecisionOne in 2005, and as a Computer Support at Upper Arlington Public Library from 2002 to 2005.

Kyle Evans completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University from 1999 to 2003. Kyle later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, graduating in the years 2010 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, Kyle also obtained several certifications including a Six Sigma Green Belt from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in March 2017 and a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification from Cisco in June 2009.
