Thomas Batchelor

Thomas Batchelor has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Thomas most recently worked at Luminance, starting in June 2019 as a Software Developer and later transitioning to the role of Import Development Manager in April 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Application Architect since February 2023.

Before joining Luminance, Thomas worked at SAFE IN TEES VALLEY LIMITED from June 2015 to August 2018 as a Team Leader. In this role, they provided supervision, motivation, and inspiration to up to 15 young people, facilitating their success and enjoyment of the NCS program.

During their time as an undergraduate student at the University of Leeds, Thomas held two additional roles. From June to July 2017, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher, undertaking a project on human intent recognition using sensor networks. Additionally, from September 2017 to June 2018, they served as a Peer Mentor, providing non-academic guidance and support to younger students.
