Dave Blackshear

Dave Blackshear has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Plant Manager at Luminant since September 2016. Previously, Dave held multiple roles at NextEra Energy Resources from June 2007 to September 2016, including Production Manager and Operations Specialist, focusing on power plant operations and maintenance, as well as implementing Ovation upgrades. Dave's career began in the US Navy, where service as a Chief Petty Officer (CPO) spanned from August 1987 to June 2007, specializing as a submariner. Educationally, Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State College between 2005 and 2006.
