David van Dyke

David Van Dyke possesses extensive experience in mine planning and environmental management, currently serving as Kosse Mine Planning Supervisor at Luminant since July 2005. In this role, David supervises a team of engineering professionals to develop both long and short range mine plans, ensuring a cost-effective fuel supply for the Oak Grove Power Plant. Previous positions at Luminant include Environmental Supervisor and Mine Engineering Manager, where David led teams in environmental compliance and mine development for multiple lignite mines in Central Texas. Prior to Luminant, David worked at TXU Business Services as a Senior Engineer, focusing on cost allocation and rate designs for electric and gas rate cases. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master's in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas.
