Jeff Salomon

Jeff Salomon has extensive experience in mining operations and management, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Closure at Luminant since July 2012, where previous roles included Mine Manager and Mine Engineering Manager at the Big Brown and Turlington Coal Mines. Prior to Luminant, Jeff held the position of Director of Business Development at St. Cloud Mining Company from 2010 to 2012, and served as Operations Manager and Mine Engineering Manager for AECOM at various mines including the Kapuskasing Phosphate Mine, Pinto Valley Copper Mine, and Absaloka Coal Mine from 2006 to 2010. Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech, earned between 2004 and 2006.
