Jerry Hunt

Jerry Hunt is an experienced safety management professional with over 25 years in the power generation industry. Currently serving as the Regional Safety Manager at Luminant Power since June 2007, Jerry oversees safety operations across multiple power generation stations, advocating for a Zero incident mindset by integrating human performance improvement tools. Prior experience includes a role as Site Safety Supervisor at Fluor and serving as a Senior Safety Manager at LCRA. Jerry's background also includes military service in the United States Marine Corps, where duties involved heavy equipment operation during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety with Fire Science from Columbia Southern University, as well as certifications from TEEX Fire School and training in copper and fiber optic splicing.
