Benjamin Shaw

Benjamin Shaw is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in FPGA-based Digital Signal Processing and system architecture. Currently serving as a Staff Architect and SoC Developer at Luminar Technologies since April 2018, Shaw previously held roles at Continental Electronics Corporation as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where work focused on developing DSP algorithms for RF applications. Additionally, Shaw has significant experience as a Senior Engineer at Ansaldo STS, where responsibilities included architecting FPGA systems for advanced voting processors and train control applications. Earlier roles at Axcera involved developing FPGA-based products, while initial research work at Youngstown State University concentrated on DCT architectures for video processing. Benjamin Shaw earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Geneva College and pursued further education in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Youngstown State University.
