Bryan Roberts is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing automation and product development. Currently serving as a Sr Staff Engineer at Luminar Technologies since January 2023, Bryan focuses on LiDAR development and manufacturing. Prior to this role, Bryan spent nearly 27 years at Seagate Technology, where responsibilities included applying manufacturing design for manufacturability (DFM) to new product concepts, leading factory automation station designs, and developing lifecycle documentation processes within the Seagate Research Group. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, earned in 1996.
