Rick Goodrich

Rick Goodrich is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in automation and process engineering. Currently serving as a Sr Engineering Manager at Luminar Technologies since January 2023, Goodrich previously held a similar role at Seagate Technology from April 1994 to April 2023, focusing on the design and fabrication of high-volume assembly machines for hard disk drives. Prior to Seagate, Goodrich worked as a Process Engineer at ATK from January 1985 to April 1994, contributing to the automated assembly of electro-mechanical fuzes for ammunition devices. Goodrich holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and has a pre-engineering background from the University of Minnesota.
